Blotchi ("the game", "we", "us") is a casual paint-and-hide game available on this website and as an app. This policy explains what information we handle and why. We keep it short because we collect very little ourselves.
What we store on your device
Your progress (levels, stars, coins, owned cosmetics and settings) is saved locally on your device using your browser's storage or the app's local storage. It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is removed if you clear your browser data or delete the app.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask you to create an account.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos or location.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and cookies on this website
To keep the browser version free, this website shows ads served by Google using Google AdSense, including standard display ads and ads shown within the game. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, we ask for your consent for advertising cookies through a consent banner before non-essential cookies are set.

Advertising in the app
The free app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process device and advertising identifiers and similar technical data. In our AdMob configuration we exclude gambling, betting and alcohol ad categories. On iOS, ads are personalised only if you allow tracking when asked; you can decline and still play. You can remove between-round ads with the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive confirmation that a purchase completed so we can grant the item; we do not receive or store your card or payment details.
Children
The game is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are limited to a general, family-friendly content rating.
Your choices
- Clear your local data by clearing your browser storage, or by deleting the app.
- Manage ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings.
- On iOS, change ad tracking in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- On Android, reset your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads.
